This modernist architecture is characterized by the intersection of a high-rise building with a pilotis that lifts up the foot of the building and a low-rise building. It is a representative work of the architect Yasuda Shin, who worked as a director of the Construction Ministry's Repair Bureau before becoming an independent architect, and received the 1962 Architectural Institute of Japan Award.
