In 1934, the Saiki Naval Air Station was established in Saiki City, which developed into a military town. The museum exhibits materials, photographs, and testimonies of those who fought in the air force from its opening to its demise, the attack on Pearl Harbor and Saiki, the lives of citizens during the war, and the world that continues to fight. In addition, the wreckage of a U.S. military plane that crashed into Saiki Bay is introduced outdoors. We hope that visitors will examine the role Saiki played in the last World War, which left a great scar on the world, and think about what is important to build a peaceful future.
