This work creates a "nature bench" where people sit and rest under the shadow of a sunflower-shaped object. Each time you change the position of your seat to match the location of the shadow, which changes with the season and time, the familiar nature you encounter there, such as plants, flowers, and insects, teaches you about the workings and cycles of life. In addition, the silhouettes of sunflowers in full bloom and withered sunflowers are incorporated into the form of the work, asking the viewer to consider how people are part of nature.
