The exhibition features works by Sotaro Yasui, Ryuzaburo Umehara, Heihachiro Fukuda, Ryohei Koiso, and Fumio Asakura, who were active from the Meiji to early Showa periods, as well as works by artists representing their native Oita Prefecture, such as Ichiro Tominaga, Teppei Ujiyama, Tokuro Katata, and Tetsu Eto.

The exhibition also features works by local bamboo artists, paintings by young painters from Japan and abroad, old-fashioned household utensils, dromedaries, coins, and historical and folk materials of Beppu.
