Compal Hall was opened on June 7, 1986 as the nation's first complex facility for culture and sports, and celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2016. Since its opening, Compal Hall has played a central role in community activities as a place where citizens of all ages, from children to the elderly, can casually and happily interact with each other through art, culture, and sports activities.
The Compal Hall has a variety of facilities that can be used for various purposes, including a cultural hall, multipurpose hall, gymnasium, and astronomical observation dome.
