Rokugo Mansan Temple is located in the center of Kunisaki Peninsula and was founded in AD 718 by Nibon Bosatsu. The temple is located in the center of Kunisaki Peninsula.
The statue of Nioh enshrined in the temple gate is the largest statue in Kunitachi and is said to be the representative statue of Nioh in Kunitachi Peninsula because of its beautiful carving.
The main deity of the Gomado is Fudo Myoo from the Kamakura period (1185-1333), and on the 28th day of every month, the Gomado is burned for various prayers, especially to ward off evil. In addition, the eleven-faced thousand-armed Kannon and Ryosho Daigongen enshrined in the main hall of the inner sanctuary have been worshipped for childbirth since ancient times.
The temple's grounds are covered with a large number of autumn leaves, making it one of the best spots in the prefecture for viewing autumn leaves in spring and fall. In recent years, the number of young people visiting the temple has been increasing, thanks to the famous water of the Runsui Kannondo, the visit to the temple to pray for childbirth, and as one of the most powerful spots in Japan.
