Matama Beach
Matama Beach is the perfect spot to see the sunset with a tidal flat. It is a beach where you can see sunsets that are selected as one of the top 100 sunsets in Japan. This is the only beach where you can see the sunset over the horizon in Oita. The red surface and the mudflat create one of the most beautiful orangey-red sunsets. Truly a spot worthy of being one of the top 100 sunset spots in Japan.
