CONTENTS

I see, I make, I feel.
Kunisaki City occupies almost half of the Kunisaki Peninsula in eastern Oita Prefecture. Surrounded by the sea and mountains, the city is also known as "Kunisaki, the village of Buddha," where the Rokugo-Manzan culture of Shinto-Buddhist syncretism has developed since ancient times. Kunimi-cho is located in the northernmost part of Kunisaki City, which has such rich nature and deep history, and is known as an "art town" where artists of various genres such as potters, dyers, photographers, calligraphers, metal artists, bamboo craftsmen, and illustrators live and work. This time, we planned a special class in which children from three elementary schools and one junior high school in Kunimi-cho and artists living in the town interacted to create artworks, and held it from August to October. Under the guidance of professionals, the children were able to experience the creation of artworks by picking up tools and developing their own images. This is an exhibition of the children's free creation, inspired by the artists.
The Children's Art Exhibition In this site, some of the creative activities in the Kunimi Takumi Juku project held from August to October and the first day of the exhibition were filmed and recorded.
