The brass band of Hikuma Elementary School is known as a strong band that has participated in national competitions. The band performs a variety of programs including brass concerts and marching. This is the 36th time the band has held a regular concert.

Hita City Hikuma Elementary School Brass Band

MESSAGE

The band began practicing after receiving a brass instrument from a nearby high school. The brass band's origins date back to when they tried to incorporate brass instruments into the parade at the Hita City Tourism Festival.

The practice is tough, but the performance is good. We have been practicing hard, but we have been trying to make a good performance with the theme of "smile and gratitude". I think the children are trying their best to convey this message.

The highlight of the event will be a marching stage drill with classical music, and at the end we will play a popular pop song.

We tried our best to bring smiles and gratitude to everyone in the audience. When we lost our concentration during practice, we talked to each other and did our best. This is the last performance for all of us, so we want to enjoy it as much as we can.
